As a young person growing up in the Rotorua region many of my fondest memories are getting outdoors exploring and enjoying the forests and lakes.

Driven by a deep concern for the decline in water quality and the loss of our native forests, I felt compelled to take action.

Witnessing the impact of invasive pests on our ecosystems and the threats they pose to our waterways, I started Hardtrap Contracting to help restore balance. My work in pest control isn't just a job-it's a commitment to protecting our environment for my children and generations to come. By reducing pest numbers, I aim to support the regeneration of native forests, safeguard our waterways, and ensure that the landscape we cherish remain thriving and healthy for years to come.

My belief is that so many people do not understand what can be gained from pest control. Looking after the environment for future generations or something small and simple as protecting your backyard chickens it all counts !

My aim is to work with landowners who wish to protect and restore the natural environment or who need to control pest animals on grazing land.

For the past two years I have been studying

,volunteering and working part time in the conservation field.

I have completed the Bay Conservation Alliance cadetship, gained credits in both conservation field skills and predator trapping methods.

I am a holder of CSL and firearms licences along with outdoor first aid, vespex, basic growsafe, LUV safety and VTA certificates.
